Swollen, painful upper lid. whats causing it?

I have severe allergies, and having a cold doesn't help. Breastfeeding has been a horrible experience for me so far. Since the beginning my daughter has a bad latch. She has the right idea with the fish lips but she doesn't open her mouth big enough. Either that or my aereola is too big for her. Ive had sore, cracked nipples and as soon as I get a little used to it my nipples have become sensiitve to the cold air. Every time a breeze would hit my back my nipples hurt so bad and my mother in law suggested it was a plugged duct. Ive tried everything to get rid of it but nothing seems to work. Im 16, currently, and have no signs of baldness. Yet I've heard the issue is that on your mothers side of the family is were most males contract their share of baldness. So far almost all of my uncles, mothers side members are bald. My father is not bald, liking the case. Yet, at an early age I'd like to step forth towards this and say I'm fricken scared of going bald compared to being trapped in a pitch dark room with the boogie monster. My parents have never really been the people to tell me about anything, like birds and the bees, and this and that. So when people say something and I sit there on a joke, they question me. I honestly dont know what high/ low testerone growth is, in which can cause hair loss.(IF) But being so, I'm also redheaded, if not contracted yet, is also another type who is likely to go bald. I like to have long hair, and well, I'm just petrified to think about losing any of it. Recently my incredibly weird half brother has been imprisoned (again) and my Father seems to bend over backwards to help him get on his feet. This is hard for me to watch because of the following: In my adult life I have always recalled moments of inappropriate times with my brother. I listened to Evanescences. And there guitar tone is nothing special. this same tone is used by hundreds heavy rock bands. Pump up the gain or find a distorion channel on your digitech that is this heavy. Or you might have to build a sound from the many effects you have available on this pedal. add a little delay. and some compression. and a good heavy distortion tone. Experiment. This is how every good player gets the tone they want by , learning the Gear they have.When you get down the road and are able to buy better gear you will have the skills to get the tone you need from what ever setup you have. Being a guitar play is just as much as bein a good a good player but also knowing how to use the gear. Actually just getting the right set up for your guitar and amp. should give the tone you want as this amp has some cool effects such as the power squeezer. and four different type of distortion. good Luck I hope I was some help. 1990 Honda Civic DX hatchback back-side window part?

Ok, I've been looking up proper terminology for these parts, and I'm coming up empty after sifting through a ton of parts sites. I have a 1990 Civic HB, and I'm looking for the plastic clip piece that connects to the back-side (elongated) windows. I've always just called them "wing windows" - ya know, with the metal extender arms to prop them open to allow airflow from the front of the vehicle while driving?... What I need is the plastic part/lock that locks the window in opened/closed positions on the arm-hinge. As it stands, I have no tension keeping the window in place while driving, so it can swing fully out indefinitely until it breaks loose from the vehicle - and it doesn't have any tension to keep rain water out, Anyone have any idea what the official name for that part is? Can I get tetanus or any kind of infection by being poked in the eye by a wire?

I was in bed and this contraption attached to my ceiling fell on my face (don't ask me why it's there. No lectures, please). It's made of wire (shaped, curled) and when it hit me, one of the curled tips hit my eye. I'm not sure if it was my sclera or my bottom lid near my tear duct. There are no wounds on my lid, no redness in my eye, only the same punctured feeling I had when it hit me. I know it's dangerous when objects randomly hit the eyes. Chest pain in young healthy male?

My husband has been experiencing chest pains for the last month. We have taken him to the ER but no one is really willing to do anything because we don't have insurance. When we went to the ER they gave him ECG and that showed that he was definitely having heart palpitations at one point his heart rate was at 169 bpm. They did a blood test, but didn't tell us what they were testing for and when the results came back they just said that "he looks very healthy on paper" and sent us home. It has been 2 weeks since then and he is still experiencing this multiple times a day. He said that he feels like he pulled a muscle near his sternum but the muscle is sore all the way around his back just on his left side. Whenever he moves the "wrong" way he will get a sharp pain in his chest and then his heart goes crazy, and other times he won't have to move he will just be sitting there watching tv and without any pain his heart will start racing. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be going on? The ER referred him to a cardiologist to be further examined, but without insurance its $400 just to walk in the door and then they bill you for the rest later, and that is way more than we can afford so we made an appt at the low income health center where we live but they can't see him for another month still. Please help!

The MB offers a great metal sound on extreme setting and is used by Mark Morton and Willie Adler from Lamb of God. I have been watching the Casey Anthony trial fairly closely since it started, and have also followed the story of baby Caylee since she went missing 3 years ago. My opinion on this whole mess is as follows............ I think Casey never wanted to have Caylee, I think she had her to appease her mother. I think Casey became jealous of the bond between her mother and Caylee, because she and her mother never had that bond, I think Casey was cloroforming Caylee for quite awhile, because her mother was making her watch the baby herself and trying to make her be responsible. She had no money for a babysitter, and she wanted to party with her friends, she had to find something to make the baby sleep for hours at a time, she had to keep her some where near her, she couldnt knock her out at her moms house, or a friends house, as that would cause alarm as to why Caylee was sleeping so long, so the trunk was the best option for her, That would explain the shocking amount of cloroform that was found in the trunk of the car, from repeated use of it on Caylee. I dont think zanax played any part in this at all, I think that is just something someone came up with because of the name Zanny. I think the last time Casey used the cloroform on Caylee, she pretty much overdosed her on it because of the numerous times she had used it on her before. I think she duct taped her mouth to keep her quiet in case she woke up before Casey got back from her partying, so she wouldnt start crying and people passing by the car would hear her. I think she found Caylee dead in the trunk and freaked, not thinking about removing the duct tape, just thinking " Oh God what do I do now?" She knew if she called the cops and said it was an accident, they would of done an atopsy and found the cloroform.I think she knew she couldnt tell her parents cuz they would of called the cops, so she figured she would bury her in the back yard, then realized that her parents would notice a fresh dug area, so put her back in the trunk, riding around for days trying to think of where to get rid of her, I think she picked the spot where she put her because it was close to her house, she could go there when ever she wanted to , i dont think she thought of her child decomposing or animals eating her, I think in her mind she just thought Caylee would stay like that, like she was sleeping. I dont think she thought of a flood in that area, i honestly think she thought in her mind that Caylee would never be found, and the nanny she made up would never be found, so she would just play the grieving mother whos baby was kidnapped. I think she made up that zanny thing cuz she was looking for an apartment so she wouldnt have to stay with her mother who would of constantly hounded her about letting someone kidnap the baby, and she saw the zanaida name on the application papers while looking for an apartment. I think she thought she had it all figured out, but didnt realize the whole nation would be on her. The father/molestation thing im not too sure about yet, If you look at the video of the first day of the trial, when Baez said George molested her, George just got a very odd look on his face, almost a guilt look, he didnt seem upset to me,or maybe the whole family was told Baez was going to use that as a defense, so Im holding off on my opinion on that one. I dont think the pool thing ever happened, I think Baez put her up to that because he couldnt think of any other way to get her off. I think Baez could care less if he gets Casey off or not, I think either way he would be reguarded as a good lawyer, if he gets her off, he will get alot of new clients, if he dont get her off, he will still get alot of new clients as he was a defense attorney for the trial of the century. I think he knows Casey killed her baby, If he knows she is a compulsive liar, then he knows she is lieing to him. But either way I believe Casey will get a death sentence, if she goes to jail she will either die by lethel injection or be killed by an inmate when she is put out in general population at the prison, if she is set free, someone somewhere will kill her for killing her child. Since it's summer time, we've had the AC on a lot. If your fan on the outside isn't blowing it could be a bad capacitor or the fan motor could be bad. If your fan motor is running on the outside but not cooling it is more than likely low on freon. When it freezes up go to the thermostat and turn the a/c off and the fan to on. Let it run for a few hours to defrost the lines and call your a/c maintenance person. If it stops cooling over a period of time you could have a leak. A few days it could be a good size leak. Check to see if you have a warranty.

For some reason very often i will get an eyelash in my eye, but I normally find that if I blink alot or touch my eye it will come out of the tear duct bit. How do I cap off a HVAC duct?

I am renting a 3 bedroom 2 story home and it gets VERY cold downstairs and VERY hot upstairs. The AC unit runs 24 hrs to try and cool upstairs but never gets it below 80F. Last night I was in the kitchen and felt really cold air blowing on my feet from under the sink. Pulmonary Embolism question?

I had bi-lateral pulmonary embolisms 5 months ago post-op and was hospitalized for a few days. My symptoms were 9/10 pain, could not move due to pain, shortness of breath, low sats, tachycardia, etc... The Doc said the pain should go away within 4-6 weeks. Since then, I have had the usual "zingers" of extreme pain which only last for a few seconds, and an ache of about 2-3/10 pain which comes and goes almost on a daily basis. But I have also occasionally been having signs of new PE's as well. This has happened about 3-4 times over the last 5 months, each time getting worse. Yesterday I had the *exact* same symptoms as my original PE with 9/10 pain, dyspnea, shortness of breath, etc... and But here is the kicker. These "attacks" are temporary and yesterdays episode only lasted about 10 minutes or so and left as quickly as it came. These are debilitating and cannot move or breath while I have them. I have to sit in a semi-tripod position and take very short, shallow breaths to keep the pain down. I have been treated for pleurisy (which I don't meet the criteria for but willing to try anything) and cannot distinguish the symptoms between my original PE and these episodes. However, I know that symptoms of a PE don't just "go away" like mine have been. I really feels like I have a sudden blockage of my vessel which breaks loose and allows blood flow again. Perhaps scar tissue or left over PE, I have no idea but am a Paramedic/Firefighter and return to work this week and CANNOT have this problem while on duty. My Doc doesn't know what is going on (she has referred me to yoga and acupuncture. I am looking for a new Doc right now) and need to get this problem fixed. I have searched the internet tirelessly and haven't found anything remotely comparable to my symptoms. Any thoughts?

How to make a 10-gallon tank taller?

I'm getting a crested gecko baby soon, and I have a 10-gallon regular tank from my previous lizard. I know 10-gallon regular is the bare minimum for a baby crested gecko. So I would like to know if there was a less expensive way to make my tank taller, than to buy a completely different tank. I have a screen top for mine, so I dont know how I could keep it on its side, and still be able to get into it. Could i have a hairline fracture in the top of my foot?

I was at the beach 3 days ago when some kid ran over my foot with his wooden boogie board. Immediately after walking back but to my towel i had ALOT of pain, and i could barely walk. My foot had a blue mark on it where i was hit and had scratches on it. A couple minutes after i sat down the pain began to fade. It was pretty much gone after about 20 minutes, but still hurt to touch it at all and alittle to walk on it. It is very swelled on the top of my foot and 3 of my middle toes. It dosent hurt much to walk on it, just to move it in certian directions and touch it at all. Could i have a fracture or just sprain?

How can a 25 year old male in good condition get an artery blockage?

I went to the hospital for angina a few months ago and it turned out it was just pleurisy. Or so I thought. My doc gave me a stress test just to make sure I was okay and it was abnormal. He referred me to a cardiologist who gave me a whole slew of tests, all of which were normal except my cardiac MRI. Apparently there's a blockage of some sort. I'm a 25 year old male and in relatively good condition. I eat right, I exercise, I'm in the military. How on earth can I have a blockage? As far as my symptoms go I still get a little tightness in my chest every now and then for no reason, but nothing serious and I have noticed trouble when I run. But that's it.

Why doesn't my house get cooler than 80 degrees with the ac on?

Even after setting the temperature to 65, the house does not cool any less than 80 degrees. An AC technician looked at it and told me that maybe it hasn't been used for a long time and then he changed the air filter. I've been using it for a whole week now for more than 12 hours a day and the temperature only gets as low as 80 degrees. It does utilize a "central air" cooling duct throughout each room in the house, but it doesn't seem to be enough. I don't want my bill to sky-rocket this month because the AC unit is not working efficiently. What's going on and what do I need to do? ( oh yea, the house was built in the late 70's to early 80's, and the unit is located on the roof. Some drips of water is coming from it too. hopefully that helps you)

All in one ac unit freezing up?

I live in a Manufactured home and its a 3.5 ton unit all in one package outside. I went out yesterday and came home and the thermo said 86 in the house. I went outside and seen the copper tube coming from the compressor was like a block of ice. I went under the house to see if the duct might have collapse due to an animal but nothing was collapsed. I shut it off all night and turned it on this morning and it was running fine. The system hit the 79 degrees I set it at and when it recycled to start up again nothing came out of the vent and the outside unit started freezing up. Nipple Discharge from right breast?

As i was getting dressed i noticed a white spot on my nipple. I pulled it and it was coming out of the duct. It was bright white and had the consistancy of playdough. I squeezed the area to which water that was red/pink came out. I decided to leave it alone. Later on i went to check it and without touching my breast i noticed my nipple was wet. I am 7 months pregnant. I went to see my GP who referred me to physio I had a bit of improvement but went back with the same problem 3 months later,my GP prescribed ibuprofen with the same results I persevered with the pain until I went to see my GP again this March she would have referred me back to physio but I told her I wanted to get to the bottom of the cause of the pain.I was sent for a chest x ray in April(2011) it came back showing inconsistencies I was referred to chest clinic at my local hospital who sent me for CT,PET & MRI scans Pulmonary function breathing tests,Bronchoscopy & CT scan needle biopsy of the Lung last week I was given a diagnosis of lung cancer & the consultant talked about having an op to remove part of my right lung but they wanted to wait for the results of the MRI scan which took place last Wednesday,yesterday(Tues)I attended chest clinic with my husband & was given the results of the scan apparently I have cancer in my R shoulder,Adrenal glands & top of my R leg (which they`re not too bothered about at the moment ) because I have cancer in more than 1 place I can`t have the op I am to start with Chemo next Monday my question is does anyone think I have a case for negligence with my GP for not acting sooner.

I tried to gain a little wight (didn't work at all) and after everything i tried I was fresh out of hope. Don't worry, I am not going to tell you "you will get there!" or "just wait a while, they will come soon enough!!" because when I asked my family members, they said the same things. All my friends have bigger breasts than me too and they do say things about it that are really insensitive sometimes. The only thing I can tell you to do is wear the push up everything like I do. But please don't let it get you down. You can still be beautiful without big breasts. And just because you have small breasts, doesn't mean boys don't like you. How can I locate my snake in an air vent?

My baby ball python Mufasa (about 15in long, 5 weeks old) escaped from his cage yesterday, and I later located him using a mirror and a flashlight coiled in the air duct. Out of desperation, my roommate tried to use a bent hanger to get him out, but only succeeded in pushing him in further. The duct drops off, and I'm very worried about his safety especially now that I can no longer see him. Does anyone know ANY way short of ripping up the floor that I could locate him, somehow see down the duct, or draw him out? Also, could turning the AC on harm him in any way? Thank you.

ER said hairline fracture, orthopedic doctor said bone wrinkle?

My 5 year old slipped in the mud and hurt his arm. Four hours later he's crying it hurts too bad to sleep. I took him to the ER and the doctor there did xrays and brought them in and showed us a small crack that was only visible in one the angles. She referred us to an orthopedic specialist for a cast and they went ahead and splinted it up for him. I made the appointment with the orthopedics and he came in room removed splint, pushed on my sons forearm all the while he's telling him ouch, that hurts and informs me the ER wasted my time he doesn't need a cast that sometimes they mistake bone wrinkles for cracks and i should just throw away all the splinting material. here it is night time again and my little boy is again complaining of the pain. Should I look into a second opinion? and what is a bone wrinkle? I've tried looking it up but all i find is facial issues.

Have you had this problem before now? what I would do first would be inspect the duct in the attic to be sure they are insulated and be sure none have been crushed I don't know if they are rigid or the flexible tube type. Also be sure you check your air filter and change if necessary. I'm sure you do.At night the a/c does cool more efficiently.also don't know the size area vs. size of pump or age of the pump you are using. I certainly am not a heating and air pro. but there are a few things you can check yourself. You may try closing a vent in a room or area not being used to help push more cool air where needed. worth taking a little time to look before having to have a service call. Okayy, so here i go..I'm a 15 year old girl going into the 10th grade and i have like no boobs whatsoever. I could probably fit in a 30A if i wanted to but i usually wear a 32A. I never noticed when i started growing them because they always looked soooo small and i never see any improvement. My cat's eye is watering! Help!?

My last period was on 6/11/11 and I'm not due for my next one until 7/9/11. I have had brown discharge in between periods before but the past 6 days I have been having an abnormal amount. I have referred to it as a "brown period". It's beginning to worry me now. It's just way too much discharge to be having for this long.
