What is a good website to go to in order to learn about whats happening in the government for a teenager?

I'm 15 years old and desperate to know about all of these political things that are going on. However, just watching the new or going to a news website doesn't help me because I can't understand many of the things they refer to. I have yet to learn about DADT's and many of the other phrases and abbreviations. Is there a place where I could find all of these things "dumbed down"? Or does anyone have an idea of where I can start to learn about all of these things. I've yet to take government in school.
