There is nothing TO do. Do you want to date him again, even though you are dating someone else? That doesn't make sense. He obviously just considers you a friend so just leave it at that. He cares about you, but like I said, just as a friend. If it bothers you that much, explain to him how you feel and ask him how he feels.
