Can I get tetanus or any kind of infection by being poked in the eye by a wire?

I was in bed and this contraption attached to my ceiling fell on my face (don't ask me why it's there. No lectures, please). It's made of wire (shaped, curled) and when it hit me, one of the curled tips hit my eye. I'm not sure if it was my sclera or my bottom lid near my tear duct. There are no wounds on my lid, no redness in my eye, only the same punctured feeling I had when it hit me. I know it's dangerous when objects randomly hit the eyes. Should I go get medical attention?
